Composition of Orsaline N 10.25 mg
Diminished osmolarity: 0.25 gram, 1/2 liter formula: Each sachet includes 1.30 grams of sodium chloride. 0.75 grams of potassium chloride, 1.45 grams of trisodium citrate dihydrate, and 6.75 grams of anhydrous glucose. Greater osmolarity: 13.95 grams in a 1/2 liter formula. Each sachet includes 1.75 grams of sodium chloride. 0.75 grams of potassium chloride, 1.45 grams of trisodium citrate dihydrate, and 10 grams of anhydrous glucose. Greater osmolarity: 27.50 gm/1 liter formula: Each sachet includes 3.5 grams of sodium chloride. 2.5 grams of sodium bicarbonate, 1.5 grams of potassium chloride, 20 g of anhydrous glucose
Pharmacology of Orsaline N 10.25 mg
This is how oral rehydration salt is made. It comprises sodium chloride, potassium chloride, anhydrous glucose, and sodium citrate (as dihydrate). This is a single formulation of an oral rehydration salt based on glucose that people of any age can use to treat or prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea, including cholera. This also stops acidosis brought on by an imbalance in electrolytes.

Dosage and Administrations of Orsaline N 10.25 mg
The daily dosage for patients should match their fluid needs to maintain and refill lost fluid. Moms should continue breastfeeding their children during this therapy, and adults should continue eating normally.
- For children under two years old, use 50–100 mL (10–20 teaspoonfuls) of this prepared mixture after every loose stool or vomiting episode.
- Children ages 2 to 10: 100-200 mL (1/2 to 1 glass) of prepared oral saline should be given after each loose stool or vomiting episode.
- For adults and kids older than ten: After every loose feces or vomiting, drink 200–400 mL (one to two glasses) of this concoction.
Complete the sachet's contents by dispersing them across 500 mL (1/2 liter) of clean drinking water.
Avoid heating the prepared solution or combining the oral saline with hot water.
After preparing the oral saline for 12 hours, discard any unused portion.
