Continue reading for the topical management of inflammatory dermatoses, such as intertrigo and infected eczema, where inflammation and infection by sensitive organisms coexist. For primary irritant or contact allergic eczema, seborrheic eczema, including acne, or moist or dry dermatitis, including atopic eczema. Also, for vaginal, perianal, and inflammatory eczema, including inflammatory eczema. Dermatophytes, pathogenic yeasts (like Candida spp.), and several Gram-positive bacteria, including numerous strains of Streptococcus and Staphylococcus, are among the organisms vulnerable to miconazole.

Pharmacology of Fungidal HC Cream

Miconazole nitrate has antibacterial properties and is an imidazole antifungal agent. It inhibits a demethylation step in the formation of ergosterol by interacting with fungal cytochrome P450 at low doses. Miconazole interacts with membrane lipids at high concentrations, directly damaging the membrane and allowing components of the fungal cell to leak out. It seems that the inhibition of membrane sterol production and membrane is the cause of fungistatic effects. Hydrocortisone, a naturally occurring glucocorticoid currently produced chemically, is used to lessen the skin's reaction to damage (i.e., anti-inflammatory). It also possesses antimitotic and immunosuppressive properties. The primary therapeutic benefit of hydrocortisone is its anti-inflammatory action. The decrease in the production, release, and activity of the different vasoactive substances released during inflammation—kinins, histamine, lysosomal enzymes, prostaglandins, and the complement system—is assumed to be the mechanism behind this. Steroids attach to tissue receptors and reduce membrane permeability. Decreasing vascular permeability and reversing vascular dilatation also cause vasoconstriction, which lowers serum extravasation, edema, and discomfort, including itching. As a result, they successfully limit cellular access to areas of inflammation. Additionally, corticosteroids have an antimitotic effect on human epidermal cells, which could explain why they work so well in treating scaly dermatoses like psoriasis.

Dosage of Fungidal HC Cream

Apply a thin film to the afflicted area two or four times a day for one to two weeks. Use your finger to rub it thoroughly until the lotion has completely disappeared from the skin. After all symptoms have subsided, treatment should be continued for at least one week. Children and adults both require the exact dosage.

Interaction of Fungidal HC Cream

Miconazole's action is counteracted by amphotericin. Contraindications People who are hypersensitive to it or any of its ingredients should not use it. Without a doctor's prescription, it should not be used on nursing or pregnant women.

Side Effects of Fungidal HC Cream

Local sensitivity is extremely rare. Long-term use may cause the adrenal gland to produce fewer natural hormones.

Pregnancy & Lactation of Fungidal HC 10 mg

When excessive doses of corticosteroids are given to pregnant animals, the fetus may develop abnormally. Using topical steroids frequently throughout pregnancy is not advised.

Storage Condition of Fungidal HC Cream

Keep out of direct sunlight and moisture, and keep the temperature below 30°C. Keep out of children's reach.
